WALKING

Hiking in the Zillertal mountains is something very special. In this mountain scenery you will not come out of the amazement any more. From beginners to passionate mountaineers or climbers, everyone feels at home here.

BIKE CYCLES

... 24 gears, a seductive perspective and more than 300 km of marked cycle paths throughout the Zillertal. 30 romping tours lead from the simple cycle path between Strass and Mayrhofen with a length of 40 km and a difference in altitude of only 83 m (duration 3 to 4 hours) to exciting mountain bike tours on alpine pastures and huts. The Zillertal cycling map accompanies you on your extensive cycling excursions.

NORDIC WALKING

Nordic Walking means walking, stretching, strength exercises with certain sticks. A gentle full body workout for everyone. The beautiful hiking landscape in the front Zillertal is therefore ideal for young and old, beginners and advanced to learn this sport in their holidays and even after the holiday in their everyday life to find a stress balance to their work.

WATER FUN

Several outdoor swimming pools and the Erlebnistherme Zillertal are located in the region and can be reached in a few minutes by car or bicycle. In the further surroundings there is a bathing lake in Schlitters and Aschau. Particularly popular is the new outdoor swimming pool in Stumm with swimming pond and many attractions!

GOLF

You can expect an 18-hole championship course with a generous practice area and a total of 35 teeing grounds, 18 of which are covered, a chipping area, a pitching green and putting greens. Elegance and exclusivity at the highest level characterise the unique appearance of the golf course with its fantastic view of the mountains of the Zillertal. The challenging, beautifully landscaped 18-hole golf course with par 71 impresses with its slightly hilly landscape with orchards, beautiful pond landscapes, numerous bunkers, well-kept fairways and moving greens. Unique holes and perfect course conditions ensure a varied golf experience with pure enjoyment of nature. At 550 m above sea level, the golf course is the deepest course in Tyrol.

CLIMBING

Fixed rope routes are ideal for those who want something more than just exploring the Zillertal mountains on paths of different widths. The routes lead through steep and spectacular walls. Equipped with fixed steel ropes, clamps and ladders, you will experience what it is like to climb higher and higher in steep rock. Towards the exit or a summit.

Similar to "real" climbing, there are degrees of difficulty. They range from A for children and beginners to D/E for real via ferrata professionals and fearless adrenalin junkies. While the easy routes can be mastered effortlessly by almost everyone, the D/E category to requires a good portion of stregth in the arms and legs and the necessary skill. But the views from such a via ferrata are all the more impressive.
